“Lovely stay, comfy bed, dinner at onsite pub was delicious. Extensive, well maintained grounds to walk around. Loved the small things like the notice in our room offering fresh milk and ice if you called reception and the filtered water dispenser in the area outside our room ”

“I aplaud the hotel being dog friendly but I think they shoud be in a seperate section of the restraunt. Evening menu could do with being more comprehensive, breakfast ok but always cold. Also did'nt know it was on an industrial esstate.”

“Hotel rooms at the back of a large traditional local stone public house. Very good standard of room. Easy to park car park of a good size. Bus stops directly outside the hotel. 15mins walk to town centre. Check-in though was too slow, using staff that were occupied at the bar. Staff very friendly when eventually the lady arrived. Check-out also suffered by using staff from the pub area, although early in the morning the wait was not long.”

“It was a pleasant stay after visiting Alnwick Gardens. The room was about average size but walk up on third floor. The room was clean and as usual air conditioning was provided by opening the window. Parking is available but not for the faint of heart if you are not used to driving in the UK. Would consider staying there again if we are ever in the area.”

“Staff very helpful. Lounge area very nicely decorated.Overall an impressive interior with great dining hall. Unfortunately menu didn't reflect the quality of the building.Food fairly pedestrian. At breakfast no indication that fish( ie haddock smoked salmon ) available other than the usual English breakfast.Would have been good to have this choice at the start!!”

“We paid 90 pounds for a 3 single-beded room but got a 70 ponds room. The staff said it not possible to chang the room but are willing to return our money back. The staff is friendly but somehow we still frustrated about the negotiations.”
