“This location is a bird watching, listening, paradise. The cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and trees. The owner Cede is very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed here Friday Nov. 8, 2024 and were the only guest due to the rainy season. Would love to return when it is NOT raining. The rooms were clean and spacious. A great place to stay and easy to get to with good roads. We toured the chocolate farm……

“This was our favorite place to stay as a family! We have 3 children (ages 11,14,16), and we loved staying in this beautiful, quaint little house in the most beautiful garden setting. It's just 30 minutes from Rio Celeste, and about an hour from Liberia airport, so it's in a great location. The family who owns this place is extremely kind and friendly, and they made us feel very welcome! The best part was the homemade delicious breakfast they made for us in the morning (complete with hot cocoa……

“Natural view”

“Jungle oasis! Very quiet, just the jungle sounds, and running river. We loved breakfast watching the hummingbirds, and the pool. Lovely plants and flowers. Great stop on the way to Arenal! ”

Air conditioning was great. Comfortable bed with view of Arenal. They even have a jacuzzi hot tub in the room. Private patio with bistro to have a glass of wine while enjoying the mountain and gorgeous surroundings. Price was under $100. Coffee in room. Fridge, microwave and kitchen to cook if need be. “My wife and I loved this property. 3 adults and 2 children in our group. If you are okay with simple accommodations with great service and beautiful scenery you have to stay here. Grounds were immaculate when we arrived and we were greeted with 2 Toucans as we headed to our cabin. Tons of hummingbirds flying around. This place just felt so full of life! The hikes on the property were great. Took my 77yr old dad to the waterfall. He had no issues. We were the only ones there our first……
