“We had a great experience with this rental. The only thing we could think of as a slight negative is the lack of a box of Kleenex!! Great kitchen for making breakfast and a couple dinners. Plenty of comfy beds and nice bathrooms for everyone. Location was peaceful but not too far from town. We enjoyed the visiting deer. Would stay again and recommend it!”

“Several of my high school friends stayed here to attend the funeral of a fellow classmate. The home was beautiful, and its historical characters made it even more special. The porch and deck were wonderful places to gather and reminisce. The bathrooms were lovely and well-equipped. Julie, our host, was welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. The home is just a short walk away from shopping and food and is in a beautiful setting. Watching the sunrise in the morning was a special treat.……

“The whole thing was adorable and very clean! Loved that it was just far enough out of town to have peace and quiet but still very convenient to town! Bummed there was no WiFi since cell service was poor. Had issues getting front door unlocked. Would have been helpful to know it was finicky up front. Overall great stay though! ”

“My whole family spent a long weekend at this great property. It was too short of a time. We played pickle ball, swam, played board games and had a great time. The property was very clean and had plenty of space for the 12 of us to spread out. We would definitely recommend this property for a large group.”

“This place is so nice and clean! We stayed at the cabins by the lake and really enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake. Our girls 12 & 10 loved paddle boarding, fishing, smore's at night and using the awesome outdoor kitchen. If you're looking for a very relaxing vacation with tons of stuff to do with the kids, this is the place. Also the owner and staff are amazing!! ”

“We recently stayed at Double K Lodging and had a great experience. Double K is located out in the countryside close to Round Top. There are three cabins available to rent, all located in a beautiful bucolic setting near a large pond, but with plenty of space separating them. We stayed in the Farmhouse which is right next to shore of the pond and it was cozy, clean, & comfortable. There is also a very nice pool near the cabins which we enjoyed during our stay. The Farmhouse has a full kitchen but……

“We stayed 1 night but enjoyed a gold cart ride thru a dirt bike track, a couple dips in the hot tubs, and played a few rounds of pickle ball. The shower was nice, huge tv and a comfy bed. The animals made it sweet”

“Everything was top notch at Milk and Honey Ranch! From the friendliness of all the employees, to the immaculate casita, it was a wonderful overnight stay. The beds were so comfortable! The layout of the house was beautiful and, by the way, this Cassita XL was completely handicap accesible. There are so many things to see and do on this property. Every kind of farm animal and plenty of ways to get exercise. A gem in Washington County and so close to Round Top, Texas! We will be back!”
