“The house was great and met all our needs. My only regret was that the weather wasn’t nicer ”

“We were there for Round Top Antique shows. Short drive to those venues, but very nice to be away from it all in the evening. Comfortable living area with good tv reception and decent wifi. Bring your own pillow, hair dryer and kitchen knives if you plan to cook.”

“We absolutely loved our stay...just one negative...the beds were very uncomfortable. When sitting on them, it sounded like they were going to break. We could feel the springs in our back and we sank to the middle. Rolling over was very loud. The mattresses need to be replaced quickly. We were there for a Select Softball Tournament for my daughter. She has mild scoliosis but usually has no problems with hotel stays. Her back and sides were hurting after sleeping on these beds. My husband……

“If you’re looking for a quick and easy getaway for a weekend, this should be your retreat! We arrived late Friday night and were greeted to lights on, easy access to enter the property and a very comfortable bed! Awakening Saturday morning and it was lovely having coffee on the porch watching deer. Saturday evening a group of red tailed hawks put on an amazing aerial display over head! Magical!”

“The silo and property are beautiful and decorated with whimsy. Unfortunately no seal on front door so a lot of bugs in room. It didn’t bother us but overall would prefer less bugs. Would recommend adding some hooks or a shelf in bathroom. Otherwise very charming property”

“Owner was easy to communicate with, the property was beautiful and set away from it all; but still 15-20 minutes from downtown Brenham. Kids were able to roam, check out the livestock, fish, and relax at the pool. Plenty of room to grill and cook, all while relaxing at the end of baseball tournament games. Will definitely be making a returning booking.”

“We loved the cabin!! It was so peaceful and quiet. The place was super clean and very well taken care of. I am a Texas history fan and I was truly blown away by all of the historical stuff around the house. This is a short drive from Houston. We will definitely stay here again when we need to get away from the city.”
