“I planned a weekend getaway for my husband’s birthday. Our whole experience was wonderful. We originally booked a stay at Brannan Cottage Inn, but was offered a complimentary upgrade to a room at their brand new hotel in the heart of Calistoga downtown for being an Expedia VIP member. I’m sure the inn is as wonderful, but our room was just beautiful and well thought out. The bathroom floor and toilet seat were heated! Warm feet, warm butt. I can go on forever about the room, but what deserves……

“The property is very cute and has a great shared courtyard and patio space where we were able to enjoy a glass of wine. It is in the Main Street going through town so if you leave your windows open it is a bit noisy at times. Walkable to everything in town. “I really liked the service by the hosts/owners Chris and Brett. It's a quaint old old house converted to a B&B. Our biggest problem was that our room faced the street - the main downtown street in Calistoga. I typically specify "quiet room" in a reservation but forgot this time. So it was very hard to sleep due to an almost constant street noise from vehicles. The A/C window unit was noisy too. Windows do not block noise much either (single pane).
