“Very quiet. Room was perfect. Towels lux! BUT...I wish the staff (not kitchen) was more visible. I found myself hunting them. Breakfast was wonderful. Continental and eggs cooked to order and delish. They can also accommodate you if you arrive after 8 pm food wise. It's absolutely beautiful. Many rooms to choose from. “This is our third time staying here! Owner is delightful and goes to every effort to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast is beautifully prepared. You can walk to the Cumberland Island ferry and to restaurants. Owner will facilitate a purchase of lunch to take on the ferry. The house is done in a victorian style. Nice front porch for relaxing. ”

“We had an excellent stay at The Addison. The room was clean and charming. The place was meticulously maintained. Ron and Lisa were excellent hosts. They helped with restaurant suggestions as well as places to visit. Bicycles were provided for free and made for a great way to get around and see Fernandina. The happy hour made for a nice way to meet other guests. I absolutely would recommend The Addison as a great place to stay on Amelia Island. Absolutely worth it!”

“This place was very quaint. Our room was a bit small, the picture made the room look bigger than it was, The beach was a bit further than i thought because i miss read and thought we were on ocean front but at least we only had to cross the road, no counter space, and missing things that you find at any hotel but other than that , it had more postive than the negative. The room was super clean, quiet , and peaceful. The owners were very responsive, instructions clear to follow and above all……
