“Very quiet. Room was perfect. Towels lux! BUT...I wish the staff (not kitchen) was more visible. I found myself hunting them. Breakfast was wonderful. Continental and eggs cooked to order and delish. They can also accommodate you if you arrive after 8 pm food wise. It's absolutely beautiful. Many rooms to choose from. Lovely living room and wrap around porch. Perfect if spending the day at Cumberland Island and you don't want to drive home. They can also pack you a lunch to take with……

“The Florida house Inn is very charming house. The location is great, right in the center of the town. It’s about 5 minutes drive to the beach. The front desk personnel are very friendly and helpful. Our room got upgraded to a much bigger room once there were available room. Thank you Julie ”

“This is our third time staying here! Owner is delightful and goes to every effort to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast is beautifully prepared. You can walk to the Cumberland Island ferry and to restaurants. Owner will facilitate a purchase of lunch to take on the ferry. The house is done in a victorian style. Nice front porch for relaxing. ”

“We had an excellent stay at The Addison. The room was clean and charming. The place was meticulously maintained. Ron and Lisa were excellent hosts. They helped with restaurant suggestions as well as places to visit. Bicycles were provided for free and made for a great way to get around and see Fernandina. The happy hour made for a nice way to meet other guests. I absolutely would recommend The Addison as a great place to stay on Amelia Island. Absolutely worth it!”
