“We had a wonderful weekend at Amelia On My Mind. It was perfectly set up for our friends and family. There was plenty of parking, spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen and a wonderful back porch along with beach misc. and outdoor fun. We were walkable to a few restaurants in the Main Beach area and there was a quick walkover to the beach about a block away. Thank you for thinking through all the details and for such a comfortable stay! We will be back!”

“Property is perfectly situated with ocean view and steps south to beach access. Check-in was easy. Kitchen is modern and great for groups. Be aware, this is a duplex. You’ll be sharing common pool if you don’t rent both sides. ”

“Excellent location just far enough off of A1A to be away from traffic noise, yet very convenient to dining, shopping and Amelia Island. Property, house and yard, is clean and well maintained. Good kitchen/living room space and roomy master bath. Garage with an operational garage door is a plus. Quiet neighborhood and street has a couple of speed bumps for speed management. Will definitely stay again!”

“The house is awesome! Exactly as advertised! We were very pleased. The beds were comfortable, the amenities were great, the private beach was Heaven!”

When we thought we needed something we opened a cupboard or closet and there it was. My daily walk was from the cottage to the St Marys waterfront and back.”

“Very impressed. Every area of this house was outfitted with whatever was needed from the kitchen to the linens. It was beautifully decorated, and we could not have asked for anything better. We had a couple of minor issues that was handled quickly and efficiently. ”

My kids are way past twin bunk bed age so this was a perfect size place my family, giving everyone their space to relax. Location is great and was very easy for us to go back and forth from beach to the house. Living room was comfy, and house was clean and well kept. Pleased with our visit! ”

“We came to stay here for a quick two nights before we headed out on a five day Bahama cruise. The house is cute clean and has everything you could possibly need. The owner is very responsive and helpful. Air conditioner works great beds are comfortable. Couldn’t ask for a better stay. ”

“We have stayed at this home several times over the years and it is always such a treat to spend time here. The house has such charm and history in Amelia. It is peaceful and restful and the updates made to the downstairs porch makes for a great outdoor living area next to the ocean. You will have your own personal sandy path to the beach. The house is so close to downtown Fernandina, restaurants, shopping and Fort Clinch. The drive into Fort Clinch is a beautiful drive of a canopy of trees. ……

"I had a pleasant stay overall. The young front desk guy with curly hair was not only handsome but also extremely kind — truly six-star service! I wasn’t feeling well when I arrived, and he allowed me to check in early, which I really appreciated. The hotel was clean and comfortable, definitely worth five stars. The only downside was the service from housekeeping. Just as I entered the room and was about to shower, someone knocked loudly and impatiently on the door. Even after I said “just a second,” they kept knocking. When I opened the door, the person said something I couldn’t catch and left. Later, I called to request extra towels — it took two calls, and when they finally arrived, the staff knocked just as rudely again. Still, thanks to the great front desk service and clean room, it was a mostly good experience."
