“Everything worked out fine. The beach was within a short walk and could be seen if you sit on the walkway/balcony. Just remember, the older retro motels may not have elevators if you have knee or back problems.Check in was very pleasant with a sweet young lady making sure everything was explained in a friendly manner. The only downside was the service from housekeeping. Just as I entered the room and was about to shower, someone knocked loudly and impatiently on the door. Even after I said “just a second,” they kept knocking. When I opened the door, the person said something I couldn’t catch and left. Later, I called to request extra towels — it took two calls, and when they finally arrived, the staff knocked just as rudely again. Still, thanks to the great front desk service and clean room, it was a mostly good experience."
