“The room was very spacious. Massive TV. Very large en-suite. Immaculately clean. Food was really tasty and hot and well cooked. Staff were very helpful, even gave us a larger room than the one we pre-booked because it was vacant when we arrived. Car parking was directly outside our room and did not cost. Overall if I could give 6 stars then I would. Of all the places we stayed in the last 25 years I would rate this in the top 3. Many thanks and look forward to staying again if we ever get within……

“A wonderfully friendly and welcoming B&B. I have stayed here for several weeks on business in the area. Debbie has repeatedly gone out of her way to make my stay as easy as possible. It’s worth a stay just to try the fudge and fruitcake. I can’t think of a reason not to stay here if you are in the region. ”

“Vince and Erwan were the perfect hosts, extremely friendly and accommodating, and lovely to talk to. The room was beautiful, lots of lovely little touches (freshly baked lemon cake, pillow mist, selection of drinks and snacks in the room that you could pay extra for), everything was spotlessly clean, and the room was well appointed. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We booked our stay due to a funeral, however will definitely consider Villa Marina in future for a stay under better……

“The old dairy excellent choice Den was the perfect host accommodations very good breakfast excellent nothing was to much of a problem for Den always willing to talk and answer any questions about the surroundings.”

“Pleasant staff and surroundings. Buildings a little dated, but reasonably well maintained. Very good breakfast selection. Evening meals were a little limited and Steak was a bit overpriced for the quality.”

“Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay ”

“Exeter court hotel has recently undergone a renovation of its bedrooms. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although near a major road there is very little noise from the road. I would recommend a stay here. It’s very easy to reach many parts of Devon by car.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Woodleigh Coach House. Lovely room, quiet surroundings and delicious breakfast in their cafe. The premises are within easy reach of main roads to nearby Exeter and the coast, as well as lovely local pubs including Traveller’s Rest and Kings Arms for evening meals. I wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future. ”
