“Really nice bear garden to relax after a long days work, great local beers. The staff are absolutely amazing, go above and beyond. I visited on a business trip, having to leave early each day at 7am, thus missing breakfast. When the bar staff heard this, they arranged for a breakfast to go for me each morning. “We are an elderly couple & had a four hour journey through difficult weather.
A staff member happened to be outside when we arrived & unasked, helped with parking, unloaded our luggage & took it to our room. On registering we were invited to rest in the lounge, served tea & assisted with telephoning. The room was very comfortable & clean. Breakfast excellent. All the staff were well turned out, friendly & helpful. On departure our luggage was carried from our room & placed in our car. ”

“Lovely experience! Our room was beautifully decorated, spacious and attractive and we had our own little balcony, which was a bonus. Great gardens for a drink or two and lots of parking on site. Delicious evening meal, which was prompt and very hot.
The staff were really pleasant and friendly, adding to an enjoyable stop over. They even provided us with some car screen wash when requested.

“Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. “Vince and Erwan were the perfect hosts, extremely friendly and accommodating, and lovely to talk to.
The room was beautiful, lots of lovely little touches (freshly baked lemon cake, pillow mist, selection of drinks and snacks in the room that you could pay extra for), everything was spotlessly clean, and the room was well appointed. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
We booked our stay due to a funeral, however will definitely consider Villa Marina in future for a stay under better……
