“We stayed 3 nights, eating in each night. It is a really lovely establishment which has exceptional food and wonderful attentive staff. The full English breakfast is very good quality food cooked to a high standard, served by very friendly staff, perfect way to start your day! The evening meals carried on with quality food and cooking. Special mention here to Sam & Emily for exceptional service, smiles and making our anniversary special.”

“Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and tidy. Thankfully there was a large fan in the room, as the temperature was very hot re weather. Breakfast was ok I would have preferred a walk in show, as the bath was not easy to climb into as quite high. ”

Lovely, Clean, New Hotel with a rich history

"The hotel has recently been refurbished but still has the ‘old’ side which you can select the room for stay if you are interested in this historic experience. Those rooms will be available for cheaper prices as well. I chose to stay at the ‘newer’ side for my accommodation this time as they are usually more comfortable for a good night sleep. I was correct and the room looks amazing and spacious too! What a wonderful refurbishment with great designs. Staff were also very helpful and friendly with the hospitality service. Their breakfast or dining area seems lovely although I took it outside instead as there’s so much to do and eat outside the hotel as well. I would loved to stay here once again if I come round for a visit once again. "
