“I have stayed in the garden suite of The Black Horse Inn for two weeks from the end of October to the first week of November. First impression of the bed and breakfast was a very warm and welcoming staff. The room itself was excellent and exceeded my expectations by miles, very clean room with just about every item for one's stay to be more than comfortable. “Just right for my needs. Good location for access to town plus free parking. Unfortunately I did have noisy people in adjoining rooms who played loud music and the room the other side had tv on loud but that’s the lack of concern for others that’s all too common now and not the fault of the guest house. “Lovely setting..nice comfortable & good sized room. Food was very good, didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment.. My only complaint is the lack of a mirror close enough to a socket so you can dry your hair…most places don’t have one to be honest & as I’m only short I couldn’t see in the bathroom mirror to use that either. I was able to move the mirror on the door but was still 3 feet away from it. Wouldn’t make me not stay again.. The staff were all very good, smiley & efficient. ”

“Stayed on a Friday night as we were at a family do. Perfect for us. Had the twin. Both beds comfortable - one softer than the other. Had everything we needed. There's limited on site parking but wasn't an issue for us as road restrictions finish early evening and there's no restrictions on the Sunday. The owner was attentive and helpful.
