“My family enjoyed staying here. It is convenient to the Canterbury West train station, the pedestrian zone and Canterbury Cathedral. It is on a busy road, so there is no place to park to unload/load luggage from a car, but there is a car park nearby. The house consists of 3 floors, with one bedroom on each floor. The stairs are quite narrow. The kitchen, dining and bathroom are located on the ground floor. There is lots of art decorating the walls. A lovely stereo controlled by Alexa is in the……

“Our one night stay in Canterbury couldn't have been better. Crippens is an easy walk to the Cathedral, shopping, and dining. The designated and secure parking space was a BIG plus. The space is very comfortable with a great kitchen with everything you might need for a longer stay.”

“Sadly this was not a good experience, we had to chase the information about getting into the property after the check in time, it was very expensive for what it was, check in time was 4pm and check out at 10 am, 18 hours for the price was not value for money, ”

“1 3/4 bed, not double although enough space in bedroom for a king size, and I'm sorry to say, the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever experienced. Dead flies and spider webs around the property but otherwise fairly clean. Small TV. Impractical bath, no shower curtain, had to shower crouched in the bath to avoid water spilling over the bath. Bathroom door doesn't shut or gets stuck if managed to close. Muddy parking area. Beautiful property, nicely decorated and lovely area”

“We loved our stay in the cottage which was just steps away from High Street. The Host was OUTSTANDING with communication and left us a lovely Starter package of items including a wonderful bottle of wine and box of chocolates. The Dedicated Parking Space was the Star Feature for us during this stay. No worries at. all. All was great, however, not advisable for travelers with mobility issues. The staircase is very narrow and steep leading to both bedrooms on second floor. Bathroom is on bottom……

Lovely, Clean, New Hotel with a rich history

"The hotel has recently been refurbished but still has the ‘old’ side which you can select the room for stay if you are interested in this historic experience. Those rooms will be available for cheaper prices as well. I chose to stay at the ‘newer’ side for my accommodation this time as they are usually more comfortable for a good night sleep. I was correct and the room looks amazing and spacious too! What a wonderful refurbishment with great designs. Staff were also very helpful and friendly with the hospitality service. Their breakfast or dining area seems lovely although I took it outside instead as there’s so much to do and eat outside the hotel as well. I would loved to stay here once again if I come round for a visit once again. "
