“The hotel was a good base for the surrounding area. It was very clean and the staff were lovely and helpful. I've given it 4 stars on facilities because our room was quite small and didn't have a lot of room to manoevre around. Also we didn't realise when we booked that the pub didn't do food on the Sunday or Monday evenings and the bar closed early too. Overall a pleasant stay.”

“We loved the colourful, quirky decor and the fantastic food. It's very convenient for Bingham station and Bingham is a good base for exploring the Vale of Belvoir. Very relaxing and friendly. The staff couldn't have been more helpful - really nice people. The room was really pretty and well appointed with kettle etc.”

“John and Pablo were so hospitable, it made our overnight stay in their beautiful property memorable. Both our bedroom and ensuite were lovely, spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Location wise, it was perfect for easy walking into Newark and we had a good evening meal at Oscar's Inn just a 3 minute walk from the property. “We had a good stay at the property, staff was very friendly and helpful, bed was huge and very comfortable, comfy pillows too, nice specious room which was tad dated but was clean enough not to spoil our stay. Good pub attached to the hotel, great that it had little play area to keep little ones happy and on the day we arrived there was a bouncy castle which was huge bonus. “The service was excellent, the food good, good breakfast. Parking free and WIFI good, nice sized TVs in the room, nice sized rooms. You CAN sit in the Martini bar area with your dog to eat your meals. The decor is a bit tired looking, 1990s dated and our dog friendly bedroom as not cleaned to the best standard there was a stain on the carpet that would have been easily enough for someone to get rid off which the correct products. Perhaps puppy pads available to buy at reception would help the……

“The hotel was in the perfect location for the rail station, which was the reason for booking. The hotel was adequate in regards to their facilities, and the owner was very friendly, which is always a plus. The room was small, but fine for an overnight stay. It was a little bit musty in smell, though probably just needed airing a little bit more. Breakfast was reasonable and I was accommodated for allergies and preference. ”
