“Colonial houses are an opportunity to stay right in the midst of historic Williamsburg . The location could not be any more convenient. We stayed at Brick House Tavern on the second floor. The bed was comfortable and the room nicely decorated. However the rooms were last updated about 30-40 years ago estimating by the fixtures, etc. The rooms rates are reasonable based on location but are not reasonable based on the out of date locks (old fashioned brass keys) , bathroom plumbing and scarcity……

“Staff service from everyone on the property was amazing, always a lovely smile from every person in each department I came across. My only complaint is that the beds in 5126 might need an update, very shaky and I did not have a lot of confidence in them. Also the portable AC made the carpet yet and any clothes near it wet. I do have to say, it added to the historical feeling of the building haha! Would stay again either way!”

“Easy to find, neat apperance from the outside, Friendly front desk service, and clean hallway and room. Free breakfast the next morning had large eat in room and many selections for breakfast. ”

“Really solid breakfast at this location, so that was great. The hotel seems a little dated and worn. Room was clean but they could use an updating as well. They advertise that the room sleeps six, but the beds are double and the pull out bed was double - so for even normal size human beings that gets pretty tight. ”
