“This was out second stay at Smithfield Inn. It is a beautiful inn. The staff was very nice & hospitable. The first time we stayed we ate breakfast in the inn dining room which was much better than the bakery/cafe where your abreast now.”

However, I was assigned a room right next to the ice machine and emergency exit. I checked in late at night and didn’t realize the potential for noise.
