“Its very peacefull and quite and clean. Its self catering and shops are bit far so best take extra food and grocery. We stayed in bunglow and they got nice clean kitchen with all the cooking facilities. Rooms are nice but mattress are bit old.View from bunglows are lovely,I ll try to share image. Staff are friendly. All in all 5 stars. Price reflects. ”

It's a shame they don't do evening meals but there are plenty of options in Barmouth centre just 10 minutes walk away though you will have an uphill walk back. Really enjoyed my stay. ”

“A lovely, peaceful stay with gracious and friendly hosts who were always happy to help out if needed. Nice clean linen and towels and a nice modern bathroom. Breakfast was delicious each morning. ”

“The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. “Super hotel in middle of Dolgellau. Efficiently run by courteous friendly professional staff. We did not eat there but wish we had! Everything as it should be in a good hotel. Plentiful overnight parking in the long stay carpark behind the hotel. Some traffic noise as it is an old building with single glazing but that is to be expected. ”

“We stayed at this lovely apartment 19th-23rd February on arrival it was easy to acess and clean we are a family of 4 two teens who’ve both said they’d visit again. The apartment is a five minute walk to the train station and the town and the beach is opposite. Just a shame it weren’t pet friendly! ”
