“I was in New York for a training and was able to meet up with my son who's a student in Queens. We spent the weekend exploring Montauk and several parks, and even saw some seals sunning themselves on the rocks! The apartment had everything we needed including two separate bedrooms with very comfortable beds, and a simple, but functional kitchen. The host was very communicative and even offered several options for grocery shopping and enjoying LI. Wonderful experience!”

“I stayed here with my husband and baby boy while visiting family in the area. The kitchen was great for prepping & cleaning bottles & looked like it had everything you’d need to cook. Water bottles & coffee were a nice touch. Living room TV was awesome, nice to catch up on White Lotus while baby boy slept in his separate room. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“This apartment was a great stay. We wanted to be close to some friends that live in Long Island. The space was perfect for my 9 month old, my husband and myself. In our first night, we had an issue with the toilet and Tammy came to our rescue immediately. Communication with her was so easy and although it was a brief inconvenience, having a super attentive host made a huge difference. She fixed the issue herself!!! Host suggested several good places to visit/sample, stayed in contact as well including when internet went down for a day. Well-equipped place, including outdoor garden area with gas BBQ and dining area.”

“The home is wonderful in a great location. Only if that location was known to the rental company. It may be a google problem, but someone needs to pin the correct location, otherwise you wind up on the wrong ferry, in the wrong town. ”

I eventually called (waking someone up) and they were so gracious and helpful.The entire house was so very clean and well appointed. “We loved our stay at the Dogwood Inn. We had the best of both worlds--a quiet, peaceful setting in the woods with Rte. 25A and all of its conveniences just a short drive away. This was our first trip to Long Island, and we fell in love with the general area, all the old homes in Miller Place, the great Italian food at Savino's Hideaway just down the road, and the tasty treats at McNulty's Ice Cream Parlor. Cedar Beach on the Sound was nearby, and we were only an hour (or less) from the gorgeous……
