“It took me thirty years to finally make my way to Yosemite for several days of plein air painting, hiking, and discovery and I loved staying in this loft apartment with my brother. There are two full bathrooms, one for each of us, a fireplace, and we slept on different floors for sibling privacy! We used the kitchen a lot and even the electric grill on the balcony. We saw a gigantic butterfly and later on..a family of mule deer from beyond the balcony doors. Arnold’s hospitality, helpful tips,……

“Very nice location inside the gates of Yosemite. It is about 8 miles to Tunnel View, which made it a nice easy early morning drive to try for sunrise photos. Nice hot shower and warm nice bed were welcome changes from the few nights of camping earlier in my trip. Nice deck to relax on and recharge with a coffee while downloading photos from the Firefall in Feb 2025.”

“We come back every year with our Husky (since she was a puppy) and always have the best time. It feels like home as we know exactly where everything is. This place has become special to us as we have built so many memories. The place is always super clean and tidy with everything you need and more. We will be back again next year ! ”

“Convenient check in and check out. Property owner/manager was responsive. The unit was a bit dated and so many random dressers collected over time. There were plenty of towels, but not any bedsheets for the futon or pull out beds.”

“This lovely cottage is a gem! It has everything you need for a relaxing visit. Downtown is close by for shopping and dining. We enjoy staying here every time we visit Mariposa.”

“Premium amenities in the condo. Memory foam mattress, good quality towels, kitchen essentials. And the garage is a huge bonus. The apartment heats up quickly, and when necessary can cool down with all the windows opened, with the cooking smells from the Warming Hut as an added bonus. The only complaint would be that there is early morning next door as the restaurant has delivery trucks or garbage trucks most days.”

“Good stay in Mammoth Lakes, very good communication from owner, property is old and squeaky like most of mammoth’s properties. ”

“We were very pleased with our stay at this condo. This unit was tastefully remodeled, clean and the unit entrance was close to and on the same level as the parking. Owners were quick to respond when we had some questions about the unit and parking. We would stay here again with our family.”

“This was a very nice place to stay. It’s a great location to use as a base camp for traveling to Yosemite and other interesting places in the area, and there are 3 other lakes in the “neighborhood” for fishing, boating, and hiking also! Clean and comfortable - I/we would definitely stay here again. : )”

“Superb location - watch the gondola run past your 7th floor window. Walk out for a brew and a pizza. Hotel hot tub and pool were very inviting - nice gym too. Owner made everything hassle free. This is on my short list for future visits.”
