“It was good all around.”

“EXCEPTIONAL! This is by far the best cabin we have stayed in. It ishas extra linens and towels, laundry soap, dish soap, a roll away bed, spices, hair dryer and so many other small things you just forget to pack. The barn has a vending machine with snacks and drinks. The owner is very quick to respond and was very helpful when I had questions. This is a clean, comfortable home away from home. ”

“We had a wonderful time at this cabin! Plenty of space for us. The kids enjoyed exploring around the area. It was a short, beautiful drive to the lake. I have to say, this cabin was one of the best stocked when it came to kitchen items. Made it easy to cook meals daily. It was also one of the cleanest; you would never know dogs have stayed here prior. We will definitely be back! ”

“this cabin has strong roots. An original from this area before it became Apple Valley Estates. Updated and tastefully decorated it offers a quiet place to unwind. Sits on over 3 acres of rolling Sierra foothills. Perfect for a couple and 2 kids who like to climb as the loft is accessed by ladder. What fun”

“Walk about is perfect for four people. Clean, well stocked with needs for a couple days. Very rustic and gave the feel of a mountain cabin! Neighborhood is in the park, can see your neighbors but also private enough. Enough hikes right outside the front door so you don’t even need to drive into the valley unless you want to. Great gas grill. ”

“Overall, very good value of a group place for families and friends with a relatively quick car ride to Yosemite. Great property with grill and group areas that was unique. My main feedback if anything is that my friends complained a little about the quality of the beds with the box springs. I also didn't love the fact that we were required to clean the dishes/take out the trash after paying for both a service and host fee.”

“This was a great property overlooking the river. Loved being inside the park and in walking distance to the Pine Tree Market. The home is very welcoming and has everything you need for a relaxing stay, especially after a day of hiking. Thank you for opening your home to us!!”

“This log "cabin" is a large yet comfortable and homey residence perfectly located in June Lake for any mountain related activities. We found the access to skiing and the quaint village just right.”

“We had a lovely time. Everyone is so friendly in Twain Harte, but groceries are expensive. The cabin is a bit dated and run down in some areas but is all functional. Bring your own coffee. Wood was provided but more kindling would have been nice. The house is cozy. The beds are soft but we are spoiled so the queen size was small. The house and neighborhood are quiet and relaxing. Even with lights on I found the house rather dark, which I enjoyed, but I was glad flashlights were provided……

“Wow we had a fabulous time! Check in was easy Rueben was very accommodating also letting us know we needed chains as upon our arrival they got about 3 feet of fresh snow! We also brought along our well trained mastiff and he had a blast, special memories for all. There was also a nice little memento for us which a very nice touch. House was fully stocked great location 10 out of 10. Thanks again and can’t wait for return trip. ”

“My family really enjoyed our stay in Arnold. I loved the furnishings and the view from the window in the living room was beautiful! There was quite a bit of snow when we arrived and we had some shoveling to do to access the grill & hot tub. Luckily, my sons enjoyed the novelty of the task and got right on it.My only issue was that I wished there was some sort of binder with instructions. I am technologically lame so I struggled with how the thermostat worked and how to get the fireplace……

“Three of us spent happy days & nights in this small cabin. Away from the highway in a sylvan development, the spot is a three-minute walk from gorgeous woods and granite outcrops. We stayed in late January, when few of the nearby cabins are occupied and the walk down to the cabin from the road is pretty icy. The cabin is one large room on the ground floor (it combines a kitchen and living room, a bit like a studio apartment) with a narrow staircase leading to a sleeping area (three beds, one……
