“Nice place, quiet and great view of the water. Room is bigger than I thought it would be. Bed was pretty comfortable. The refrigerator made some noise and it was a little noisy and it woke me up but after figuring out what it was I ignored it. The room I stayed in had an electric fire place with a heater and I used it instead of the wall heater, it was nice. Overall, nice place to stay, would stay here again”

“This seems to be the last hotel/motel on the north end of Newport, where the space between Hwy 101 and the beach narrows. Moolack Shores Inn rests on a low cliff, with stairs direct to Moolack Beach. The beach is unique from others around it, with a fascinating variety of rocky formations and tide pools, and few people. These features, and views from rooms at the inn are the big wins. Couple of things to note: The gaslit modern fire pit shown online is really just a pit for a wood fire - just……

“Beautiful ocean views from just about any room. Things were clean and all the amenities seemed to be included. What this place needs is an overall upgrade to the building. It is old and run down and just not aesthetically pleasing. However, to be fair, they are doing very well keeping things clean, tidy and providing the things needed. It's just dated!”
