“The Rancho de Lelo was AMAZING! When we arrived, Beatriz was so kind to us and very helpful. She helped us planning activities and she recommended restaurants. It was probably the best welcome that we ever experienced at a hotel! The Rancho is located on a great property. It's beautiful, peaceful and very quiet! It's a family-owned hotel. They even have their own coffee plantation. The rooms are private "cabanas", so cabin style. The breakfast is delicious. The pool has nice clean natural water……

There were hiking trails to waterfalls, great views, and opportunities to see wildlife. Additionally the room was spectacular and the onsite restaurant was one I will definitely come back for. “We spent two nights in Ficus. Notable- The young lady working the front desk with long, dark hair and the wait staff in the restaurant at night. Both were super friendly and went out of their way to be fun and welcoming! Room- very clean and all the things worked well! Breakfast buffet- Excellent! Other food was good...except the pizza. A bit undercooked. Stick with local cuisine. The area is very hilly- expect to walk up hills. Shopping is a bit a way from everything. Tours- a very limited……
