“The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very lovely! Negatives for us is that our TV remote would turn on the TV and that’s all, wouldn’t let us change channels or volume, we got a second remote from reception and it done the same thing. Our room neighbours were also out on the balcony all night talking loudly and playing music. Would stay here again though. ”

“A nice hotel, very clean, great location, no frills but exactly what we needed to break up our road trip. I would definitely stay at a Microtel again. ”

“This is a very clean old school motel. If you are staying in Charleston and you just need a clean comfortable room at a great bargain. Stay here.”

“The room had a smell like a sweaty person. We were so tired we didn’t even bother to complain. The pool looked very pretty until you got in it and noticed a lot of details of it dirty. Then they charge me an extra $10 and didn’t say why on my bill Later on. ”

“The hotel has been updated since our last stay which was much needed and very nice. The breakfast could be better. Very limited. It would be nice to have hot coffee other than early morning, too, since there are no coffee pots in the rooms. The employees were courteous.”
