“We did have a few problems finding the place, but the neighbors were wonderful, helping to navigate the mountain. As soon as you start up the mountain you lose Wi-Fi and phone connection. (all stated in the directions but we didn't realize just how quick we would lose service. There was plenty of recreation supplies. The place was pretty and we really enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings, and a fire in the fire pit at night. Bring extra towels if you can. I would recommend it……

“Beautiful cabin. Over decorated with lots of dust catchers. Such as many artificial flowers, that are just not cleanable. I am high allergy and feel that things that can’t be dust and/or wiped down between each guest should not be in a home that is being rented,”

“I had a friend with me. The cabin was great, except there wasn’t a remote for the fireplace and it wouldn’t ignite by turning the switch. Also, the water was milky. Other than those two issues the stay was great.”

“Everything about Bear Rock Chalet was excellent! Access to the property, kitchen facilities, Wi-Fi and all amenities were great! The view from the wall of windows and the deck were extraordinary! Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting this area. Be sure to rent a boat at the Lakes End Marina. We had an afternoon on the lake and it was perfect!”

“This was our second time staying at this cabin. The first time we stayed with one family and this time we brought another family. The views are amazing, the hot tub is definitely a plus, and we really enjoyed the game room, playing pool and games with the kids every night. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the views are incredible. As my friend Alicia mentioned in her previous review, the pictures do not do this cabin any justice as it is much nicer in person.……

“We rented this house for a short little trip away. It snowed on the weekend, so that was even better. The layout of the house was perfect for us and our two dachshunds. The area was so quiet and we even saw deer close by in the woods each day. We had a few questions for the owner, but he was very quick to respond and that was very appreciated!”

“If you have dogs or kids and want to get away this place is perfect. We have 2 shelties and they loved roaming the huge back yard and we knew they were safe with it all being fenced in. The owners have gates to partition off different areas of the deck and backyard. We had to contact them once over a question we had and they got back to us immediately. Great “curb” appeal when you’re driving up and both outside and inside very well maintained and clean. We look forward to staying here again.……
