“Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall……

“We stay at the Travelodge in Sheffield to move my son out of Uni halls. The Travelodge was easy to get to and parking was next door. The staff were very helpful, especially with the parking. They also informed us on breakfast, dinner and bar times and about door lock times and what to do. The room was clean and tidy, but I didn't get the best night sleep due to the traffic noise as our room over looked the tram bridge. “Average stay, tv not receiving signal, boiler broke down, although owner came out to fix within a few hours. Very poor welcome pack (small bottle of milk). No logs or kindling for log burner. View from back of cottage spoilt by messy and junk strewn garden. Nice location with good pubs in village that did good food, just check what days they open.”
