“An excellent area to visit. Do your research before you go although they do offer lots of information.
The included breakfast is very good.
Dog friendly for sure with only a ten pound extra for each dog , can't complain about that.
Definitely worth going back.”
“5 Star in every aspect.

“Silverdale is a lovely hotel - cosy, charming, clean and welcoming. Shelly and the rest of the team were extremely accommodating and treated us amazingly. We would definitely go back. Big recommend!”
“Great small country pub with friendly staff and excellent food and drinks. Don’t miss the included full English breakfast, it’ll get you going for a busy day of sight seeing. ”
“Lovely 2 night stay. Food was lovely and staff very helpful. Very busy on Second night and had to eat in the bar even though I had booked restaurant weeks ago, but otherwise couldn’t fault it. ”
“Great little hotel and restaurant.
Stayed Gillow, beautiful room and amenities. Quiet and nice park view.
Had dinner and breakfast, amazing food and lovely service.

“Room was nicely decorated and clean. Great situation with lovely views from the garden. Staff were very helpful. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent. I’ve stayed here regularly over the past ten years.”
“Stayed one night only. The room was comfortable. Even though the heating was not on due to it supposedly being summer, as the room was a little cold we were able to turn on an electric wall heater to take the chill off the room & a blow heater in the bathroom.
The quality and pricing of food and drink in the bar were excellent. The cooked breakfast was included, which was also delicious. Would definitely stay again.”
“Spotlessly clean. Some things a bit 'tired' excellent breakfast, plenty of choice. Fabulous view across the bay from dining area.
Would definitely stay again.”
“I put in the postcode but car sat nav directed me as far as the local pub only! After turning down a wrong lane past the pub in the pitch dark (9pm on an October evening) ascending up at a dead end I rang the owner who instructed me to carry on past the pub for another 2 miles!
I eventually arrived at a building signposted as the ‘equestrian centre’ so I drove a bit further and ended up driving around some lane in a woods (surrounded by curious deer and badgers!). I rang the owner again and……
“I wasn’t happy it’s not a real hotel but that was forgotten as soon as I walked in. Beautiful room with an amazing hot tub and fireplace. I could have spent the whole vaca here. I relaxed and slept well. Highly highly recommend and will stay here again for sure!”
