“We had a wonderful week at the Muir. It far exceeded our expectations. The staff were terrific and there were so many little touches that just made our stay feel very special. A fruit basket in the room when we arrived. A book mark for the books, little ties for the cords for the electronics, someone to open the door as we arrived and left. I asked for a book to purchase and they managed to find me one. Dinner reservations were made. The driver available to take us to local places. 10……

“I love this hotel however we were there for 5 nights and was only able to get our room cleaned once. It was very frustrating and took multiple attempts with staff to get the one cleaning done. We literally had to chase down staff for the basics such as toilet paper and towels. No coffee or toiletry supplies replenished at all. We had to put our daily garbage in the hall. We spoke with the front desk several times about this but no resolution. ”

“Very communicative owner and the rooms are like apartments with kitchens and living rooms, at least the one I stayed in. Close enough to walk and take the ferry to the Halifax Waterfront, though had to walk through an area that felt a bit sketchy especially at night. Ther is parking at property and it was very clean.”
