“Very good hotel in the centre of Dunster so didn’t need to move the car for the whole weekend. We were able to park our car in the hotel’s car park at back of property. Breakfast was very good - freshly cooked, The owners were very friendly & helpful”
“Beds were very comfy and the food was good. I had an omelette which was delicious with cheese, bacon and mushroom served with an english muffin. Lots of cereal to choose from and croissants. ”

Staff are great and the pub has a nice relaxed feel with a bar area used by the locals (Friendly) with everything you want from a country pub.
Restaurant area separate from the pub with a good varied menu.the food I had was great and good value for money.
I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area.”

“An old coaching inn nestling in the Exe valley with lots of atmosphere. Great restaurant with excellent and personal service. Climb out of the valley onto Exmoor and explore moor and coast at the same time.”
“Decent accommodation in a beautiful village on Exmoor. The bed was comfortable and the full English breakfast very good as well. I had no problem parking just outside on the street. I liked the feeling of staying in a family-run hotel and they were all friendly and helpful. Would return!”
“The spare room was a joke. The bed was completely broken and couldn’t safely hold an adult — totally unusable. The room was filthy, and to top it off, someone else’s dirty socks were still on the floor. I called the owner to try and sort it out, but they were incredibly rude and made no effort to help. Absolutely unacceptable. Would not recommend to anyone.”
