“We had a lovely stay. Our room was spacious and yet had a really cosy feel. Our evening meal was absolutely delicious, as was breakfast. The view from our room was beautiful and we had a nice walk over Tarr Steps. We will definitely return. ”

Room was excellent, nice bed and bed linen, extremely clean and warm - provided everything you might need in way of tea/coffee making facilities and fridge. Excellent TV with all the stations. Stay included breakfast, we only had the continental as had an early departure but hot breakfast was also available. Would highly recommend.”

“This is an old building and part of the charm of the village. A lovely breakfast and welcome. The room was spacious and warm. The hotel does need refurbishment and some decoration but it is central and close to the shops and restaurants ”

“A party of 9, venue didn't have a clue that 3 of us had booked. My room incredibly noisy with motorised heat pump on outside wall 24/7, used soap with pubic-hairs in the shower and mouldy grouting. Food was very expensive for tiny portions and the kitchen couldn't cope with 12 diners on a Sat, so was served cold. Staff member spotted cleaning teeth in the food prep sink. AVOID”
