“The Rancho de Lelo was AMAZING! When we arrived, Beatriz was so kind to us and very helpful. She helped us planning activities and she recommended restaurants. It was probably the best welcome that we ever experienced at a hotel! The Rancho is located on a great property. It's beautiful, peaceful and very quiet! It's a family-owned hotel. They even have their own coffee plantation. The rooms are private "cabanas", so cabin style. The breakfast is delicious. The pool has nice clean natural water……

“This is a wonderful, quiet getaway in the cloud forest! We booked a room last minute after our original accommodations didn’t work out and the owners were so accommodating, letting us check in early and taking care of everything (including dinnner!) Our family of 5 had a great time splashing in the pool, watching the rain, and playing with the friendly dog who visited our cabin often. “What a gem! Cost was totally reasonable- particularly given the quality of the included breakfast. The rooms were clean, the hostel enjoys beautiful views and you get a sense like you are nestled in the mountain. The only downside is that it is a 15 min walk to most restaurants and you need to either drive or take a VERY steep walk up the hill to return from town.
