“This interestingly titled listing is certainly an affordable home option (surprised to see it on Hotels.com - property is maintained by Evolve and it is nowhere mentioned in the listing), conveniently located in the city. However, it is not recommended and not suitable for business trips. I stayed here with two colleagues during a recent business trip. The home itself is spacious, with a large living area, a patio, a nice pool table, and plenty of open parking. That said, we encountered two……

“Rock Creek Cottage was very clean, spacious, and attractively decorated, and everything we needed was supplied. The outdoor space was very peaceful and quiet--just as pictured. Colin was helpful and responded promptly to messages. We definitely recommend this cottage!”

“We enjoyed our stay. The screened in porch was a nice extension to the living space. The yard was nice to have for our dog and my granddaughter. The location was in walking distance to multiple parks as well as easy access to 270. The pictures don’t do the place justice. The host was pleasant and very responsive. Very happy with our stay.”

“My daughter's family and myself went to DC for my mother's burial at Arlington. It was a quick trip and we're from the area,though no one lives there now, so we needed a place to stay. This was a convenient location close to places to eat, the Metro, and major roadways. It was clean, comfortable, and safe. I'd definitely recommend. “We so enjoyed our time at the cottage. Isaac was so helpful and responsive when we had questions. The cottage had everything we needed or wanted and we had a lovely, restful long weekend here with our daughter. What a great cottage in a great location, close to things we needed, but nestled in the woods and on the water. We will be back! Highly recommend. ”
