“John and Pablo were so hospitable, it made our overnight stay in their beautiful property memorable. Both our bedroom and ensuite were lovely, spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Location wise, it was perfect for easy walking into Newark and we had a good evening meal at Oscar's Inn just a 3 minute walk from the property. “this hotel is a little surprise. Doesn’t look much from the outside and not helped by being next to a disused building. However, once you enter it is a very different experience. The hotel is lovely, well maintained and the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. We had a family room which was very good, though could do with some better quality bed linen. “31 Castle Gate gave us a very clean and comfortable 2 night stay . Private and quiet accommodation clear instruction re parking facilities. Easy access to shops, cafe and relaxing meal/ drink in the evening sat by the canal. Initial access wasn't granted by the code given but a very quickly answered call gave us access for the stay.
