“John and Beth were the perfect hosts. Was able to switch room to a downstairs room that was very accommodating. Additionally, the breakfast omelet with fresh fruit and biscuit was delicious. Would highly recommend this B&B if traveling to New Bern.”

“What a gem! The lovely decor both in the lobby and room was so fun. The 70s vibe while old, all of the furnishings were new and very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable and sheets very soft. The pool was a lot of fun and having grills, putt putt, ping pong, shuffleboard and swings were nice options. So many great walkable dining options. Mother Earth Brewery (obviously) fantastic and Jay’s 108 was amazing and worth the drive alone. We only live 20 mins away and can’t……

“Overall we knew what to expect when booking the hotel. I’ve stayed here a few times before. There’s the saying you get what you pay for, and if you’re looking for somewhere to lay your head and get a hot shower then for the price you can’t beat it. It’s obviously not a 5 star hotel, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were beyond nice. My only complaint was the tv, it was extremely outdated. No hdmi ports and was very tiny. But other than that my stay was pretty good. ”

“Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!! Was only guest so extremely quiet! Right in downtown at the water! Peanuts candy and water in the room as a sweet treat ! No restaurant bar pool or other amenities but wasn’t needed for me! ”
