“We had a lovely weekend at the Verdie May House. It's a tiny place, but full of charm. As long as you know you're staying at a small historic house, you shouldn't be surprised by the creaky floors, steep stairs and ability to hear each other in separate rooms - all part of the experience! Location was perfect - very easy walk to all the fun shops and restaurants of Lewisburg. It was clean and hosts communicated well. “We enjoyed the house and really appreciated the responsiveness of the host. While the location is between a small road and train tracks, it wasn’t overly distracting or loud. The access to the water was unobstructed and relaxing. The master bed was probably the most comfortable that I’ve ever slept in away from home, with quality bedding and mattress. The property was also great for our dog, with a contained back yard and front porch. Definitely recommend! ”

“Came up for a few days for some recreational activities at Lake Moomaw. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It felt like home with all the amenities. The nearby creek and the fenced in back yard was a plus. The king size bed was absolutely WONDERFUL. The best nights of sleep I've had in years lol. The host was amazing! She gave us suggestions for food and attractions to visit. She told us to call anytime for anything. She was so very sweet and friendly. A jewel she is. ……
