“Really enjoyed our relaxing stay. Lots of attention to detail. Very private spot. Weather was hot so we enjoyed the very comfy sunbeds and were able to eat outside, enjoying the afternoon/evening sunshine. The hosts had provided a large fan in the room, which was most welcome. Plenty of drinks in the fridge and various snacks in the room (crisps/chocolate) Just bring your own food. Hosts are on hand if you have any issues. “We had a lovely couple of nights stay, it was very peaceful and secluded at the cabin which was perfect. We were pretty much left to our own devices which was quite nice, although we knew the wardens were on site if anything was needed. Lovely set of amenities provided so we were able to cook for ourselves. Only things I would request more of were a sponge for washing dishes (dish soap provided but no way to clean the dishes so we bought our own), and also some extra loo rolls! We ran out on our……

“Arrived over an hour before standard check-in and room was ready. Lovely, large room in a cottage by the river with free parking. Staff Lovely & friendly. Got back just before 11pm and was able to get more milk for a late brew. Only grumble, not enough milk left in the first place. Loved our Eggs Royale for breakfast. 11am check out is just right. Would reccomend.”

“Our second stay and we love that all of the rooms have a different character and decor. The location is very quiet and peaceful. We had a corner room with views down the valley as well as overlooking a brook and wooded area. Just one reminder - take your own hot drinks supplies.”

“We booked a superior room. It was fine but I think we expected it to be a little bigger and to have bath and not just a shower room. However the room was spotless and the bed was comfy. Our evening meal was really excellent and good value.”
