“We stayed in Idris. While comfortable and clean, there is almost no storage in the room and it's not really suitable for anyone over 5ft10in due to a low beam. “We stayed for one night as I had an early morning appointment at the Queen Victoria hospital which was just a 10 minute drive from the hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is part of a public house which is huge with loads of outdoor space with seating and a kids well equipped play area. “The soundproofing is poor, and I can hear the snoring from the neighboring room at night. I requested two bottled waters, but they did not provide them. The drainage in the bathroom is poor - after about 10 minutes of showering, the water starts draining out, as the shower area has a shallow floor and does not have enough time to properly drain. However, the hotel is indeed very close to the airport.”
