“Obviously a lot of effort has been made by the new owners to create a comfortable and upgraded environment. They are working hard and constantly on what was obviously a worn down building. Looking out from the room the gardens and view is spectacular. The room was large and comfy with great, instant hot water and lovely deep bath. Authentic home cooked curry was delicious.”

“Amazingly clean and quiet, the only issue is checking in, you have to wait for the host to come let you in.”

“Lovely place unfortunately only found out on arrival day that kitchen was closed and bar closed at 7pm after arrivind at just before 6pm. I would definately like to stay again when kitchen and bar open.”

“It was a surprise trip for hubby. As we pulled up to the gates, he let out a huge WOW, I did too. The lady that greeted us and showed us around was lovely. Our room, the Nest, was beautiful as was the rest of the castle. We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast and met other members of staff, they were lovely. It was like being in a fairy tale. “It was cheap - you get what you pay for. Shared bathroom and kitchen, which was expected based on price and photos, but not clear in details and another guest hadn’t assumed this and caused a big scene on check in. Wasn’t dirty, but could have been cleaner. Beds were comfy, but sheets smelt damp. Air con didn’t work in our room or another room that was empty. Free parking. Walking distance of the town centre which has takeaways. Kinda average stage. But cheapest around”

“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Slebech, the hotel is lovely and set in the most gorgeous grounds, it is truly idyllic. The staff were very friendly and all in all it was a really relaxing break.”

“Lovely stay at Lamphey Hall .Tim met us and we instantly felt welcome, he is such a good host , welcoming everyone and engaging in conversation about our trip , letting everyone know about the area and what is going on . Breakfast was lovely, well organised and plentiful. We will definitely be staying again .”

“I first visited the Druidstone 45 years ago and fell in love with everything about it; the friendly hosts, the homely decor and atmosphere, the perfect location and delicious food. I feel the same every time I visit including my most recent visit in August 2025, which included a fabulous Greek feast. ”
