“We had an amazing stay from start to finish. Ian gave us a tour if the castle along with a history. The rooms were cozy, the bed was very comfortable. The owners even gave us a ride to the tram when we were unable to find a taxi. Sue and Ian are a friendly helpful couple. ”

“Great staff. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Some smaller issues with electrical blinds in our rooms as well as a bit late housekeeping (16:00). Some maintenance done at 09:00 one morning. Room (Captains Suite) was spacious and clean. A bit noice form the street outside. It’s a brand experience hotel, and could use some minor adjustments here and there. Ex more thorough housekeeping and refills on body wash etc. But other than that, super friendly staff and young vibe typ of property. ”

“Edinburgh is all stairs so we expected it but worked hard to get to the top. Lol. Lovely flat with castle views as promised. Everything was tidy and organized. It was a very nice place even tho we weren’t there very long. I’d have liked a blow dryer for my hair but there were nice space heaters so it all worked out. ”
