“Bad experience ! First night the heater was not working but the supervisor just gave us a portable heater which is noisy and bothering us all night . Luckily the next day we asked them to give us a new room otherwise it would be a disastor . Room cleaning is ridiculously every three days . We asked them to do room cleaning the second day morning but when we returned to hotel around evening , the room was not done cleaning at all . What’s worse is that the supervisor gave us a lame excuse ,……
“Lovely appointed and prepared room in the west end, handy for the relaxed, less touristy drinking and eating on Rose Street.
Recommend nipping out to Cairngorm Coffee, a lovely local eatery for breakfast, and take a walk down to The Dean Bridge and along the Water of Leith Walkway to St Bernards Well and Stockbridge.”
“A very nice hotel with a 'living apartment' concept; whilst there is no breakfast on site, plenty of options nearby at a reasonable rate and with a hotel discount.
The daily wine hour between 5pm and 6pm was a nice touch to enjoy talking to fellow guests or just read a book by their library area. ”
“Few things need to improve in the toilet. The shower is not strong enough, water pressure is week. The door to toilet should change to a sliding door in order to make more room to the toilet.”
“We enjoyed staying at the Bonnie Hotel. It was conveniently located, we were able to walk to a great breakfast spot (Laura's Kitchen- highly recommend) and around the city. Our room was clean and comfortable. We did not use the kitchenette, but its there and well equiped if someone wanted to. ”
“Belford was my first night in Edinburgh and it was super chill. An easy walk from Haymarket station, the 24/7 check-in was really nice. I had a lovely private room (only 4 of those, so book early!) and the staff were super friendly and kind. It was a chill, well-stocked place right besides Dean Village and not far from West End and their nice bars and cafes. ”
