“While I appreciate Edinburgh was busy due to a big music concert, the marathon and it being a English Bank Holiday weekend, the hotel were clearly charging a premium which wasn't deserved! “Near to perfect place for stay, from facilities, to staff, to location. Spacious, comfy, good sound proof, with everything you need for short or long stay. Will definitely come back if there's a chance. Above expectation provisions include free capsule coffee in lobby, Netflix, and WhatsApp contact with reception which made communication much easier and convenient. Only complaint is the weak water pressures in shower and lack of pillow options. The pillows are bulk and too high for us.”

“Very interesting older building. Quite a few stairs to bring luggage up to 3rd floor. First room was an attic room but it was quite big enough. Staff were obliging when I requested a room on a lower floor when i came back for a second stay. I also got breakfast included on second stay. It was lovely full Scottish breakfast too. Beds were comfortable & rooms were clean. ”
