“The room and bathroom were very clean. (There was some black mildew/mold around the caulking of the bathtub, but not a lot; a spray of bleach would have taken care of it.) The carpet appeared to be new. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. ”

She was such a great friendly worker. You should be proud of her, went out of her way above and beyond to take care of my daughter-in-law‘s baby and make coffee for her! What an excellent worker! I wish I could remember her name. I hope you know who I mean when I say she was a bubbly blonde with the accent.”

“Amazing antiques & flowers all around mansion & carriage house. They are still working on completing the renovations which was good for us because we got to go thru all the rooms & see all the furnishings. When we arrived Expedia hadn't notified staff (Dave & Pete) that we were coming but we had made reservations within an hour-ish before. So, our room hadn't been cleaned. We went to dinner & came back to a clean room. We really didn't like the shower, the curtain sticks to your body no matter……

“Near highway, but couldn’t hear it at all. Luckily we were on this end of Ft Madison as the Mississippi bridge was closed and we had to go through Keokuk to get to Illinois. Nice hotel with very friendly staff. ”

“Great value for our stay. The staff are professional and efficient. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was self-served hot waffle, toast, yogurt, oat meal, juice and coffee. The only downside for us was the AC was loud.”
