“Just an overnight stay to attend a high school graduation. Loved the possibility to my relative's home and the high school. Enjoyed checking out the historical society center at the train depot. Looking forward to returning to see more. ”

“We could not use the pool as it was too cold. We were there for 6 days and saw ONE person get in the pool for like 10 minutes only. Breakfast was awesome although it would be nice to have another egg option for those who can not have dairy (all the eggs had cheese in them). Also gravy would be great! My husband became "obsessed' with the choc chip cookies you put out in the afternoon. Keep up the good staff attitude and work. We would recommend this place. ”

“Amazing antiques & flowers all around mansion & carriage house. They are still working on completing the renovations which was good for us because we got to go thru all the rooms & see all the furnishings. When we arrived Expedia hadn't notified staff (Dave & Pete) that we were coming but we had made reservations within an hour-ish before. So, our room hadn't been cleaned. We went to dinner & came back to a clean room. We really didn't like the shower, the curtain sticks to your body no matter……

“The text indicated that there would only be a skeleton crew. But never saw anyone during our stay. That is good if you are low maintenence. A phone number was provided if you needed help. Everything was just steps away. Perfect location. Enjoyed playing the piano. Please dust it...and the vase on the piano. Enjoyed our stay. ”

“We had a wonderful time at the Nauvoo Grand B & B. Laurie, the host was an amazing cook and host. Warm reception every time she saw us. We had a mix up in reservations at another hotel and ended up here, we are so happy we did and would do it again in a heartbeat.”

“Very clean for the price. Very nice, accommodating staff. No strange smells in the room or in the bed which is really nice, usually booking via 3rd party apps gets you the crappy rooms but all the appliances worked well, there were toiletries and clean linens in the bathroom. Not sure about breakfast or where it would have been since I missed it.”
