“Hotel was located across the street from Lake Mirrors beach which was open for swimming. Rooms were simple and spacious. Would stay again if traveling to Lake Placid again. Breakfast was okay, very continental so not my cup of tea but very typical of many hotels i have stayed in. ”

Close to everything in town and a fabulous pizza restaurant right next door and they can make awesome specialty pizzas and much more. Rooms have everything you need for a memorable stay. “Beautiful view of the High Peaks”

“Unser Zimmer lag am Ende des Ganges, hier kam nur ein sehr geringer Teilnder Frischluft an, so dass wir drei Tage in unserem eigenen "Mief" verbringen mussten ohne ausreichende Sauerstoffzufuhr. Wir mussten daher mehrmals die Zimmertür zum Flur öffnen, um nicht zu ersticken. Die Fenster konnte man nicht öffnen. Auch wurde die feuchte Luft nach dem Duschen nicht abgesaugt, so dass die Feuchtigkeit am Spülkasten der Toilette kondensierte und Fützen auf dem Boden bildete. Die Kaffeemaschine auf dem……

“Our family stayed here on a ski trip to Whiteface. The hotel is across the street from the mountain and is a great base camp, especially when you’re skiing with kids and have a lot to prep/do to get ready! We were here during a very large snow storm and the driveway was plowed and accessible even with the constant snow dumping! Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice base camp away and will spending most of your time outdoors. Beautiful view of the mountain! ”
