“This property is not what I expected—the old house part of the building is beautiful and the view from the hotel is beautiful too! But the property has added wings that are architectural mismatched and it gives a strange ambiance. There are conditional issues such as stained carpeting in hallways, but rooms are nice and comfortable. Service is a mixed bag—-valet and baggage guys were great…retail shop clerk was super nice….front desk was adequate but not friendly and didn’t try to make you feel……

“The excellent comfort of this guest house enhanced our stay in Glasgow. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the choices were extensive. The only thing I would change is to book a room with ensuite next time. It was only a short walk to the bathroom however the sink in our room did a gurgling sound for about 10 mins after being used. Not great when you are trying to get off to sleep 😪 ”

“Well maintained hotel in an amazing location literally on the edge of the loch. We stayed in a ground floor suite with a shared terrace overlooking the water. The room was very spacious and immaculate. There were a few niggles, the room was for 2 people, but although there was more than enough room, there was only one comfy armchair. The bedside lamp switches could only be reached by climbing out of bed! There was a small dressing area with a dressing table the mirror of which was set at such a……

“Loved our stay. Staff very friendly & welcoming but special mention to Oxy, Robert & Jack in the lounge bar. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel is dog friendly. They are allowed most places except for the main restaurant but that we understand.”
