“Hotel is in a lovely area, especially if you like horse racing. Don’t arrive early though as it is £30 for early check in, even if the room is available, you are not permitted to use the pool until checked in so the only option is to come back later or go to the hotel bar and wait, or pay £30. The rooms are nice, a bit dated, but bathrooms appear to have been recently renovated. Rooms have aircon which is good, and the beds are comfy. “The property is absolutely lovely and the staff are excellent. The breakfast is also really great. The location is perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and want to come back. The only minor negatives were, the TV is ridiculously small and most of the Freeview channels don’t work due to low or poor signal - surely a hotel in 2025 can resolve this issue? It would have been nice to get a complimentary bottle of water every day and not just on arrival. The WiFi kept dropping and we had to keep……
