“It is a lovely B&B. A little remote but beautiful views all around. Stayed two nights in the Boots room. Nice big room with large double bed, little sofa, couple of chairs and a gorgeous deep window sill, perfect for the morning cuppa and views across the fields. Bathroom was a good size as was the shower. Nothing worse than a tiny shower cubicle and this was a nice big space. They are horses and alpacas at the property. The roads to and from are a single track and rather rural. Take is easy and……

“Clean warm friendly. Restaurant and pub downstairs didnt notice it being any noisy upstairs in the room. Bed was comfortable four poster. Room spacious and tall with large window viewing street below and losehill opposite worth a walk along with mam tor at the other end. Free car park opposite the hotel.”

The Hosts are super helpful & friendly, go above & beyond to ensure your stay in stunning English countryside is memorable. The cooked to order breakfast was delicious, freshly squeezed orange juice was a real treat. Highly recommend this quaint B&B ”

“Great pub, all the staff were really friendly and accomodating. Unfortunately we had to leave before breakfast (which doesn't start until 8:30am), but they were really amazing in trying to help us and they did make us a breakfast sandwich to take away which was much appreciated.The bed also was very comfortable!”

“Lovely stay. The staff was great! Everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful, even helping when our plans to tour local sites got messed up by a very heavy winter storm that caused power outages. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but excellent quality and our servers could not have been better. Breakfast every morning was delicious and, again, our server was lovely. Would recommend this hotel if touring Derbyshire area. ”

“Our stay was fine. My other half became cold during the night. I had to switch the fridge off as it was noisey and we could hear road noise in the morning. The engineered oak floor requires attention. All minor issues and overall our stay was fine.”
