“Loved Staying here before the theme park Season really kicked off. My only issues are that checking out its best to do after 7.00. due to needing to phone to unlock the main doors if you require to leave before 7.00 Checking Inn at a late time can be problematic due to the main Gate connects to someones Mobile and Signal in the area is extremely poor”

“Beautiful old hotel in superb grounds. My 3rd visit. It’s dog friendly which is essential for me. Staff very friendly especially Angela who made such a fuss of our boy. Its excellent position means a great spot for beautiful dog walks, literally across the road. However I must comment on the room. It was absolutely boiling hot in there, totally unacceptable and uncomfortable, we were given a fan which helped a bit. One of the lights on the wall wasn’t working which made the room very dark. There……

“The accommodation was great but a little remote. Would have loved to try out the restaurant but closed on Monday and Tuesday they have a cafe just next door which serve great breakfast and sandwiches of all varieties. Looks like they are creating a new garden area which will be a great addition. Overall I would defiantly stay again when everything was up and running and sample the food from the restaurant.”

“A very nice hotel. The staff are all kind and helpful. Breakfast is fantastic but the selection of lunch and dinner is limited. Generally very good!”

“The chalet was very clean. It was nice and quiet at night. The continental breakfast was great and if we needed anything our hosts were very obliging. Can’t think of any negatives. We are sure that if guests with young children were to stay the kids would love to see and engage with the different animals on the farm. All told we would give this accommodation a ten out of ten.”
