“I had an excellent experience. The landlord, Qin, was very enthusiastic and helpful in solving our problems. The property I stayed in was located on the first floor, right next to the reception. The room wasn’t very big but was cozy and warm. It had a bathtub with plenty of hot water available. “The provided facilities, in terms of the fridge shack etc could do with updating and the site is a lot smaller than anticipated so we were greatful of only one other pod being occupied. Had there have been others there, there wouldn’t have been much privacy at all. Coat hooks being on the same wall as the plugs/shelf etc meant coats hanging over the kettle , but the pod itself was lovely and clean, amazingly comfortable bed. The toilets and shower blocks were very well kept and clean. Perfect……

“This is a wonderful property and unusual for a hotel with a spa. It is located in the market town of Helmsley which offers a great selection of places to wander to. The hotel has a range of rooms - this time we stayed in a spa suite and couldn’t fault it. A large entrance into a separate living area, a huge bedroom and bathroom with fabulous bath tub and separate shower. Breakfast was delicious with a range of options. The spa is included in the price too, which is another reason to visit this……

“It was a lovely room i was a solo traveller this time and it was the perfect size for me.Everything was there that you needed. Good quality shampoo/conditioner. Showergel handwash amd hand lotion. Excellent choices of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and a small packet of biscuits in room. Shower was amazing. Breakfast was really tasty. Staff very efficient and friendly. They couldnt do enough for you. They have parking passes in the hall way so that you can park for free.Thats a bonus as its expensive……

“Located in a quiet corner but within minutes of walk to the station and attractions. May need some little time to locate at first as the location is not really very touristy. The owners of the guesthouse are very enthusiastic and friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very nice. Excellent experience.”
