“Our room was very clean and very pretty decoration. Our evening meal was excellent, plus time in the bar after completed our evening. Our free breakfast was most enjoyable. Will certainly be recommended to friends and family. Thank you.”

“This is a superb b and b in fact the best I’ve stayed in. The room was large, comfortable bed, large shower and bath. Fluffy towels. Wide choice for breakfast which was excellent. It is in the upper price bracket but worth it. I would return here.

Staff were all very friendly and the food was very good.
The hotel is on quite a busy road, though we did go for a walk along the local canal and golf course and that was pleasant - and we avoided the thunderstorms !”
“Generally OK. However, the pillows were poor quality and affected my sleep.
Also the Sheep room has a skylight window that cannot be covered. Consequently I was woken up by sunlight streaming through the window at 05:00am and could not get back to sleep.”

The staff were professional but friendly. They were approachable, knowledgeable, always willing to help, and did things properly without taking themselves too seriously.

We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house.
Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time ”
