“We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this Durango Mountain retreat. The drive is what you'd expect on unpaved mountain road, so don't be discouraged. When you finally pull up to the house and go inside you will be delighted. It is just a short distance into town and to the narrow gauge railroad. Sitting on the deck overlooking the valley is wonderful in the mornings and evenings. I love listening to the turkeys on the next ridge gobbling. The mule deer are common.
