“The Whitman is a beautiful property but they do silly things like add $75 to the stay for parking and internet to be redeemed with $15 per day in the restaurant. That type of thing bugs me - suddenly a stay is wrapped in a “thing” that is $75 more expensive than I thought it would be. ”

“Greta place to stay when visiting the area. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. Nice food options when you can’t or don’t want to leave the hotel. Close the airport, Fairchild AFB as well as dining and entertainment options. I was able to do a number of activities in no more than a 5-10 minute radius. I’ve stayed here twice and if I’m ever in the area again I’ll definitely stay beee again!”

“We are regulars at the Clover Island Inn and love it there. We love that the place is clean, the staff is top notch, the windows to our room open (a must for us), there are nice views of the Columbia river and bridges, good places to walk our dog. The Crows Nest restaurant there is closed as they make renovations, but Cedars next door is a wonderful restaurant with a dog friendly space outside. We're concerned about rumours of the Hilton buying it - it is quirky, and we love it for that reason -……

“Cramped rooms. No lighting in the closet refrigerator area. Door on fridge is backwards so awkward to open. TV was very confusing with a Samsung channel . we never did figure it out. The AC was out the first night but you found us a different room which was great.”
